Top 10 Favorite Jazz Singers and Musicians

This week's top ten is in honor of Louis Armstrong whose birthday is today! "Satchmo" really knew how to play that trumpet.

1. Manhattan Transfer - Scott and Sundy saw this group LIVE just before we got married! It was a FABULOUS concert!
2. Louis Armstrong – We know “What a Wonderful World” is because of him!
3. Michael Buble - We just fell in love with his voice recently...
4. Harry Connick Jr. - Nothing beats his smooth, crazy sounds!
5. Glen Miller - A classic that really puts you “In the Mood.”
6. Nat King Cole – He is so “Unforgettable.”
7. Charlie Parker – The “Birdman” knew how to bebop!
8. Duke Ellington – “It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing.”
9. Mel Torme - Not only can "The Velvet Frog” sing and scat, but he made guest appearances on “Night Court” too.
10. Queen Latifa - At least she sings really great jazz on her album “Trav’lin’ Light.”

I myself think that Michael Buble #1. All of them are good, can't go wrong with good music. We always have music playing at our house. I am sure you are like that to. By the way I had fun watching your slide show of your family vacation. Looks like so much fun. How do you have all that energy. It made me tired just watching it.
